Please describe your products and services.
"Tru180° manufactures and distributes outdoor "poly" furniture through a network of dealers/retailers. Our chairs and tables sets are handcrafted from recycled plastics and are built in shops, not factories. We use no electricity in building our products which significantly reduces our carbon footprint. Our craftsmen and women are some of the best as skills and designs are passed down from generation to generation."

What are your best home or garden tips for the season?

"Don't forget the functionality of your furniture. Is it comfortable? Is it comfortable for your guests. Once folks get to a certain vintage they don't like having their buns below their knees as you might in a traditional Adirondack chair. Think about buying counter height chairs. They are easy to scoot in and out of and they elevate you above a deck rail."

What are your featured items this season?

"Because Tru180° mostly sells its products through retailers we use shows like the St. Paul Home & Landscape Show to introduce our new products and offer them to the public at reduced rates. Stop by our booth to see our new "Multi-Color" poly as well as several new products that will change the way you view and enjoy your outdoor living. Show specials will be 25%-30% off with greater discounts on floor models used at the show."

What are your home or garden pet peeves?

"We hate sitting on a deck in chairs that are too low. This puts most people's line of sight perfectly with the top rail of a deck."

What is the strangest client request you've ever received?

"We have actually learned tons of things from our clients. Visiting with folks at trade shows really helps us understand the market and what the consumer really wants/needs. Several of our furniture designs have come about because of customer requests."

What's your favorite part about participating in the St. Paul Home + Patio Show?

"The people, by far, are our favorite part of the show. We make all sorts of "5 minute" friends and usually come away with one or two lasting friendships."

Is there anything else you think folks should know about your business?

"We are a family owned business based out of Apple Valley, MN and our shop is in IA. You won't be disappointed in your Tru180° furniture!"
